TALUSIA UNIVERSAL

Description
A new universal cylinder oil suitable for use in engines running both high and low Sulphur fuels. Its patented formulation is specially designed for the cylinder lubrication of slow speed 2-stroke diesel engines when running with fuel having a large range in level os Sulfur. The unique composition of TALUSIA UNIVERSAL gives to this lubricant an exceptional and perfectly adapted behavior with regard to the neutralization ability of acids generated during the fuel combustion process.
Recommended Uses
Allowing for the most stringent conditions encountered in service TALUSIA UNIVERSAL covers the special operational needs when using fuel with sulfur level between 0,5 % and 4,5 %. With TALUSIA UNIVERSAL no need to change to a special cylinder oil when entering in SECA′s area. With TALUSIA UNIVERSAL no need to store more than one cylinder oil on board. With TALUSIA UNIVERSAL no need to install additional lube oil storage tanks or pipe work. With TALUSIA UNIVERSAL no need to train crew on correct switch over procedure.

Handling
Certain minimum precautions to avoid prolonged contact with the skin should be taken when handling. The use of gloves, visors or masks is recommended in order to avoid splashes
Health and safety hazards
Inhalation: Minimum risk of inhalation as it is a non-volatile product.
Ingestion: Does not provoke vomiting. Drink water. Seek medical assistance.
Contact with Skin: Wash with abundant water and soap.
Eyes: Wash with abundant water.
General measures: Seek medical assistance.
Fire fighting measure
No special measures are required.
Fire control: Foams, dry chemicals, CO2, water spray. Do not apply water jet directly as this may cause the product to spread.
Environmental precautions
Danger of physical contamination in the case of spillage (water flows, coastal areas, the ground, etc.)due to its floating capacity and oily consistency which may cause damage to fauna and flora with which it comes into contact. Avoid its penetration into water containers or outlets.
Decontamination and cleaning: Treat as an accidental oil spillage. Avoid spreading by usingmechanical barriers and eliminate using both physical and chemical means.
